PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Seneca Group managed the planning, design and construction of this new, state-of-the-art laundry plant. Water recycling systems allow the 61-foot long tunnel washers to conserve and reuse the same water, saving more than 40 million gallons per year. Heat from the boiler room and ironing machines is captured and used in the massive laundry dryers. The Hospital Central Services Association (HSCA) has seen substantial operating savings thanks to these innovative systems.
